BEHESTAN DAROU

This project was divided into two different categories. The first one is the “Management Unit”. The clients of this unit encountered lack of light and noisy spaces in the workspace. On the other hand, the structure of the building resulted in some unused spaces in the unit. In this case, the room separators are shifted and the main columns have been hidden in cabinets. Some walls are replaced with office double glazed partitions. To reduce the noise in office spaces four main items are considered in the design process: the placement of spaces, using sound-absorbing materials, decrease the amount of parallel reflective surfaces, and covering rooms with carpet. Totally, four different alternatives were proposed to the employer.

The other part of the design is “Unit 61” which is located on the same floor as the “Management Unit” is. Nine to Ten users are going to stay in this unit while one of them is the manager of the department and the other one is the head of the group. In this case, four alternatives were proposed as well.
